The adult Sunday School Class has just completed a brief, five month study, of the life of Paul. This included a Saturday afternoon field trip to the Stained Glass Theatre, which presented a stage play of Paul’s life. Once a murderer, God used even Paul to present the good news – that salvation is available to all! Often referred to as the “Roman Road to Salvation”, Paul laid out a simple plan to understand and share this good news with others. Romans 3:23    Everyone has sinned. Romans 6:23    The penalty for our sin is death Romans 5:8     Jesus Christ died for sin. Romans 10: 8-10  To be forgiven for our sin, we must believe and confess that Jesus is Lord.   Come fellowship with us as we continue our study  through the New Testament,  in the book of Galations. A Busy First Half of 2016!

Special thanks to all who have helped in this year’s many events so far!  We will be holding Vacation Bible School from  6-8 on July 13 – 15.  On Saturday, July 16, 12-4, we will have a family fun day on the church grounds with games, prizes, and a bounce house for the kids!  Please join us!  We look forward to having many more fun events in the second half of 2016!

Cell Phone…

Cell phones VS. Bible This really does make you stop and think! What a difference it could make in our lives if we did treat our Bibles like our cell phones. It is sad that I don’t!! Shame on me! Ever wonder what would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat our cell phone? What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets? What if we flipped through it several time a day? What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it? What if we used it to receive messages from the text? What if we treated it like we couldn’t live without it? What if we gave it to kids as gifts? What if we used it when we traveled? What if we used it in case of emergency? This is something to make you go….hmm…where is my Bible? Oh, and one more thing. Unlike our cell phone, we don’t have to worry about our Bible being disconnected because Jesus already paid the bill. Makes you stop and think ‘where are my priorities? And no dropped...
